Absenteeism/Tardiness

Excessive absenteeism and/or tardiness with/without notification, may subject you to disciplinary actions, up to and including termination. Please advise iTech Solutions and your direct Client manager as soon as possible if you are delayed or will be out.

Bereavement Leave

iTech Solutions does not currently offer any bereavement leave for our hourly consultants.If you are out due to a death of a loved one, please notify iTech Solutions and your Client manager of the situation.

Confidentiality

It is incumbent on all iTech personnel to protect confidential information of the company, our clients, partners, consultants, and employees at all times. For further information, see our corporate Confidentiality Policy here.

Cyber Security

All iTech personnel should take the utmost precautions to reduce the risk of a cyber attack. Please utilize this list of cyber-security basics from the Federal Trade Commission to help maintain the cyber security of iTech and its clients.

Disciplinary Action Plan

An employee may be given a disciplinary action plan for a designated period of time for significant performance deficiencies that are determined to be within the employee’s ability and intent to correct. This includes, but is not limited to, failure to meet expectations, insubordination and performance. The employee’s immediate supervisor shall counsel the employee regarding performance deficiencies, job performance standards, an improvement plan, and action to be taken if the employee fails to complete improvement goals.

Dress Code

Please adhere to the dress code given by the client management team at your assignment site.

Employment Verification

All employment verification inquiries should be directed to our Human Resources department. All credit agency or background check company requests should be sent to HR@itechsolutons.com via written request.  No confidential information regarding salary or other personal information will be provided without a signed release from the consultant.

Expense Reports

Expense reports must be approved by the client prior to submitting to iTech Solutions for payment. Depending on the Client you are assigned too, there may be specific guidelines to be followed. Any approved expenses may be sent to expenses@itechsolutions.com. Please find the updated expense report  here.  Time is of the essence in filing these reports, therefore any expense reports submitted more than 60 days after expenses are incurred will NOT be payable.

Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

Depending on the geographic location  where you work, you may or may not fall under the guidelines of FMLA. Please view the Employment Posters for your specific state. Information regarding your rights under FMLA are reflected within each poster. Please contact Human Resources at hr@itechsolutions.com if you have a possible FMLA claim.

Garnishments

Any wage garnishments mandated by the court or government agency will be processed upon receipt. This includes, but is not limited to: child support, mandatory health insurance, alimony, tax liens, etc. Court orders will not be changed without a subsequent order that releases or modifies the initial order. Changes will not be accepted via phone, email or any other form of communication. Changes are only accepted through official court correspondence.

Harassment

iTech Solutions, Inc. (iTech) strives to create and maintain a work environment in which people are treated with dignity, decency and respect. The environment of the company should be characterized by mutual trust and the absence of intimidation, oppression and exploitation. iTech will not tolerate unlawful discrimination or harassment of any kind. Through enforcement of its Anti-Harassment Policy & Complaint Procedure and by education of employees, iTech will seek to prevent, correct and discipline behavior that violates its the  Anti-Harassment Policy & Complaint Procedure.

All employees, regardless of their positions, are covered by and are expected to comply with the  Anti-Harassment Policy & Complaint Procedure and to take appropriate measures to ensure that prohibited conduct does not occur. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against any employee who violates the  Anti-Harassment Policy & Complaint Procedure. Based on the seriousness of the offense, disciplinary action may include verbal or written reprimand, suspension, or termination of employment.

Managers and supervisors who knowingly allow or tolerate discrimination, harassment or retaliation, including the failure to immediately report such misconduct to human resources (HR), are in violation of the  Anti-Harassment Policy & Complaint Procedure  and subject to discipline.

Health Care Benefits

Jury Duty

In the event that you are summoned for Jury Duty and you ultimately end up serving as a juror you may be eligible to be paid, for at least some of that time, by iTech.  When summoned you must submit a copy of your notification to hr@itechsolutions.com and then after completing your jury service you must also submit an official court letter confirming the days you served.  iTech will compensate you for the time at Jury Duty, but only to the extent mandated by the state you reside in. Certain longevity and other minimum employment requirements may have to be met. Please refer to the notices relating to Jury Duty in your specific state by visiting our Employment posters page.

Long-Term Disability

iTech Solutions does not offer any long-term disability coverage. If you are interested in long-term disability, we encourage you to seek independent coverage.

Non-Discrimination

iTech Solutions prohibits discrimination against and harassment of any employee or any applicant for employment because of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, veteran status or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal or state law. All personnel who are responsible for hiring and promoting employees and for the development and implementation of company programs or activities are charged to support this effort and to respond promptly and appropriately to any concerns that are brought to their attention. Payroll

Payroll is processed every two (2) weeks on Monday and payable via direct deposit on Friday for the two work weeks prior ending on Saturday. Please see the iTech Solutions Payroll Schedule for the payroll processing schedule for this year.

Professional Practices Agreement (PPA)

During your on-boarding process, everyone was given a copy of iTech Solutions, Professional Practices Agreement (PPA). This document identifies you expected behavior and other contingenies of employment.

Referral Program

iTech Solutions offers a simplified consultant referral bonus program. All consultants on assignment through iTech Solutions are eligible for referral bonuses when referring a friend or colleague who is subsequently placed on assignment at an iTech Solutions client site. Please refer to our Referral Program $$One Hour One Dollar$$ Guidelines for more information.

Short Term Disability

iTech Solutions offers short term disability, along with other voluntary benefits. This is not a default plan and each employee must enroll if you wish to have coverage. Please visit our Voluntary Benefits page for more information on types of voluntary insurance and any enrollment information.

Timesheets

Timesheets are due every week on Friday. Consultants are required to enter their hours into the Client approved Vendor Management System (VMS) at that worksite. In the absence of a Client VMS, iTech may also instruct consultants to complete the iTech Solutions online timesheet (on the right hand side of this page) or forward a copy of their Client timesheet to timesheets@itechsolutions.com.

Vacation (or other planned time off)

iTech Solutions does not currently offer paid time off to our hourly consultants. In the event that you need time off, you must get approval from your direct manager and notify Human Resources at hr@itechsolutions.com. We do not pay for any holiday time off.

Work Schedule

Your work schedule is determined by your hiring manager along with the needs and requirements of your assignment. In the event that you do need time off, a request needs to be sent to your direct manager and hr@itechsolutions.com. Your direct manager will authorize any time off whether for vacation or sick.
