These seasoned executives were formerly employed in the core industries we serve and understand what it takes to succeed in technology and in business.
Meet the iTech team:
Salil Sankaran
President
Salil has a successful track record of driving revenue growth for organizations including experience in mergers and acquisitions and business development. In this role, he is charged with leading Ampcus as it grows to meet expanding market needs and maintaining its leadership position in the Federal, State, Local, and commercial markets. He is responsible for establishing the strategic direction and future vision of Ampcus, and ensuring the portfolio of IT services offered is kept in sync with customer demands.
He brings along with him a vast experience of over 20 years in sales, financial and operational management. Prior to joining Ampcus, Salil has held executive and senior management positions at other small to large organizations. Salil is an MBA in Finance and a Master’s in Management Salil is an alumnus of the Delhi University in India. Salil is also an Advanced Post Graduate in systems and management.
Ramana Challa
COO
Ramana Challa holds an MBA in Management and is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the business with full P&L and operational responsibility, setting the direction and management of recruiting, administrative, and technical staff, developing HR policies, maintaining government and legal compliance, and ensuring an on-going corporate focus on financial goals and objectives. Ramana has over 15 years of experience in the professional services industry.
Shelley Nieb
Vice President – Delivery
Shelley has been an IT Recruiter for 20 years with all of her experience in the IT Staffing Industry. She has recruited high quality IT Talent for large-scale, middle market, and small clients throughout her career. Her recruiting experience has encompassed all of Connecticut, with a focus on the Hartford marketplace, as well as Boston, Rhode Island and NY, MN, and CO on occasion.
Shelley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and worked as an IT Consultant earlier in her career. This personal experience is critical to her success as an IT Recruiter. She prides herself on her ability to build lasting relationships with both clients and candidates, affording her the skill of successfully matching candidates to opportunities. She is frank and honest and works with the highest level of ethics.
Shelley has recruited for resources on all levels within IT organizations. She has successfully recruited and subsequently placed Business Analysts, Project Managers, Program Managers, Application Developers, Network Engineers, Helpdesk professionals and more. She is creative and likes to think “outside the box” in her recruiting for “hard to fill” opportunities. She is process and detail oriented, outgoing and personable.

Jamie Leone Petriashvili
Vice President – Customer Success
Jamie has over 15 years of business and IT experience driving customer success for large companies, including a number of Fortune 500 enterprises across numerous Industries including: Healthcare, Insurance, Financial, and Retail. She has proven experience helping large healthcare organizations successfully integrate during mergers and acquisitions. She recently led the MSP Program at Aetna, via Tapfin, where she successfully help them transform their program management and delivery to CVS, while expanding additional business lines. Prior to Tapfin, Jamie grew a large Healthcare customer taking their footprint from limited engagement to Global Partnership.
Jamie focuses on what is most important to the customer while building mutual trust and forming long lasting relationships. She looks at challenges as opportunities, and strives to exceed customer expectations. In her spare time, Jamie volunteers as a Foster Coordinator at Dog Star Rescue, helping dogs find their forever home! She is also an avid Liverpool supporter!
Andrea Bonello
Human Resources Manager
Andrea L. Bonello, iTech’s Human Resources Team Lead, has more than 10 years’ experience in the HR field. Her proficiency, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office, and knack for employee relations prove invaluable on a daily basis when she’s directly supporting the needs of iTech’s COO and operations department.

What she loves about her job: I’m proud to be working for one of the most successful small businesses in Connecticut, especially because it’s a woman-owned enterprise. Kay’s leadership as a business woman is inspiring to me on a daily basis; and the owners’ ability to balance their family life is admirable.
When she’s not working: She’s enjoying the afternoons listening to Billie Holiday, or engrossed in conversation with friends about a movie they’ve seen.
Matthew DeLuka
Director – Customer Success
Matt has 5 years of experience working in the Information Technology Sales and Staffing Industry. Starting his career as a Technical Recruiter with Insight Global, he was quickly promoted within his first year to an Account Management role where he was solely responsible for staffing within the Healthcare Technology division. Working with clients such as Barnes Jewish Hospital, Washington University Medical, Saint Louis University Hospital, etc. he won the bid for a multi-million dollar project for on the elbow support technicians, and placed over 30 resources on site.
In his previous role, he worked for a boutique style staffing firm in Nashville called Bradford and Galt, where he ran a full desk performing both full lifecycle Recruiting and Account Management. During his 2 years of experience with B&G, Matt placed 50+ consultants on both contract and direct hire opportunities. He also was able to excel in New Business Development, getting nearly 10 Master Service Agreements signed with new clients in the area.
Matt brings hunger and tenacity to the iTech team, bringing a “Never Give Up” mentality to sales. He prides himself on delivering what is most important to the customer by building long lasting relationships, and is excited to continue to learn/grow within the ever changing tech industry.
Amber Verno
Recruiting Operations Manager
When an iTech client has a need, Amber Verno steps into action. As iTech’s Recruiting Operations Manager, Amber assigns all client requirements to our team’s recruiters. And when she’s not making sure the requirements get put in the right hands, she’s busy posting jobs to internal and external job boards, organizing client and consultant events, formatting candidate resumes and being the face of iTech at job fairs. Amber holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University.

Melissa Connolly
Financial Operations Specialist
Melissa joins the iTech team with more than two decade’s worth of experience working with CPA’s, CFO’s and COO’s in Finance, Accounting and Payroll. She enjoys working Microsoft Excel, has extensive knowledge of financial statements, and solves problems quickly and effectively. Her technical abilities and computer skills are surpassed only by her positive team attitude and ability to forge strong relationships with colleagues and clients. Melissa graduated from the University of Connecticut and resides in Cheshire with her two daughters, husband, and dog.
When she’s not at work: Melissa is most likely at a sporting event of her daughters. She enjoys being outdoors, especially during her favorite seasons: Spring and Summer. She loves a perfect beach day. She also enjoys running, taking yoga classes, and date nights with her husband Fran.
